Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Scott has eyewitness awareness of the impact racial inequities and economic disparities can exert upon people and places. Rooted in decades of experience in education and nonprofit management, Scott brings both subject matter expertise and an incredibly diverse problem-solving toolkit to his work. 

Scott is motivated to build a world in which social foundations are robust, so justice can thrive, and ecologically responsible, so sustainability is ensured. A trained historian and avid reader of speculative fiction, Scott always thinks at least seven generations into the past and into the future, while his family, friends, and vocations ground him passionately in the present.
